The Inner Architecture of Deep Sounds [NYXII]

The autumn of 2025 began kinda boring, and then Mara invited me to a semi-underground party somewhere in Lichtenberg. Knowing her good taste in music, I jumped on the bike and headed straight to the location.

The event started [quite promising] outdoors, then moved inside, to a different location. This is when things began to get beyond interesting for me. I’m talking about the set of Leo Cologna, which took me completely by surprise.

Felt permanently in love with deep atmospheric techno since I first had the pleasure of experiencing it. And Leo is one of the artists keeping the flag pretty high when it comes to this genre. We had a chat afterwards, and I was also impressed by his chill personality—one of the most modest artists I’ve met.

I’ve been meaning to write about his productions ever since, even more so after he told me about a new VA featuring one of his tracks.

Today, I can finally publish something about The Inner Architecture, an eight-track compilation from NYXII featuring some exquisite atmospheric sounds.

I’ve been listening to it for a while now, and found myself in the pleasantly impossible situation of not being able to say which track I like best. Of course, it’s my subjective opinion, but if you like deep atmospheric journeys, I dare you to prove me wrong.

Among the producers on this VA is another one of my favorite DJs—Isabel Soto, who needs no introduction. I’ve danced to her amazing sets countless times during my Berlin years.

Every producer on The Inner Architecture brings their own creative touch to the compilation. Check it out and show some support if you enjoy it.

The Inner Architecture VA is out now on NYXII Records
