Sometime in February 2021, my friend Katja was about to leave my flat, when I decided to play with this new software from Peter, resembling Rekordbox (forgot its name now, haha:).

Was once again searching for fresh, inspiring music, to keep me going through the day. It was in the middle of the full Corona lockdown.

Everything felt frozen, including SoundCloud – your typical Berlin in February kind of day. Nothing new to hear, nothing to spark that feeling of being alive.

This is where everything began: I decided to try something new: my own selection of music.

If there’s nothing good out there right now, I might as well create my own set of tracks I love. Really unexpected was the immensity of fun I had in the process ❤️‍🔥

Already had licensed software from my good old friend Peter, all I needed were a few good tracks + the courage to press play.

That’s the moment when unklar mixtapes came to life.
