PAROXYSM LTD: First techno vinyl release from Albania

PAROXYSM LTD — PAROXYSM (VINYL RELEASE – Marseille 19-06-2026)

Somewhere between Berlin, Albania, Marseille, Italy and beyond, PAROXYSM LTD begins its story — one shaped by joy, pain, long nights and emotional contradictions every real Berliner knows well.

This is the first Albanian techno label ever to press on vinyl. Like Tears in the Rain is cinematic, emotional, and feels less like a debut and more like a transmission from uncertain times.

PAROXYSM started as a party series in Marseille during the COVID era, later evolving into a label connecting Balkan artists with producers from across Europe and beyond.

“There are other labels in Albania, but this is the first one to ever release on vinyl” – says Avni Leka, a familiar figure from Berlin’s past underground nightlife.

The music reflects a similar borderless spirit. Lindsey Herbert opens the record with deep dub textures, spacious tension, while Vekh’s “Like Tears” bends expectations without ever fully resolving.

Another standout comes from XVIII aka Ardit Hoxha, one of the most promising from a new Balkan techno generation, based in Kosovo and running his own label LXVIII.

The international connection continues through 13130 Space Project, an alias of Damien Lapena aka Elyas from the south of France, while Malta’s Acidulant closes the release with his signature analog acid electro-infused sound.

“This release is just another drop of water in the middle of a rainy day,” said Avni. And maybe that’s exactly the point.

No grand manifesto, no fixed destination — just people, cities, memories and music moving somewhere between Berlin, Albania, and Marseille… and wherever comes next.
