Some names are leaving a serious mark in electronic music history for decades already. One of them is DJ Hell, a living legend from West Germany, whose career began in the late 70s. In an interview for The European, he stated “I was socialized with German electronic music of the 1960s and 1970s. There were no commercial aspirations; it was all about experimentation”.
Four decades later, it’s still “about experimentation”. In the set he played at the end of July 2022 in Cologne, DJ Hell remains faithful to his music religion, suturing together different styles like Techno, House, New Wave, Electro, or EBM. The outcome: two hours of good music & nice vibes.
