NASA and SpaceX bring down astronauts by splashdown landing [live video]

NASA astronauts Bob Behnken and Doug Hurley are returning to Earth on Sunday aboard Crew Dragon, the new capsule from Elon Musk`s SpaceX project. The two astronauts are supposed to splash in Pensacola Florida at around 20:48 CET / 2:48 PM ET, according to NASA. The water landing is happening despite the threat posed by Hurricane Isaias, which is wiping the coast of Florida.

Bob Behnken and Doug Hurley undocked their ship from the International Space Station on Saturday evening, starting the descend of the first commercial astronaut mission, named Demo-2.
