Been a while since I’ve written about a new mixtape, for a good reason — I needed an incentive. And the incentive is represented this time by a certain (self imposed) standard being reached. Meaning, I managed to like my latest mix myself. Sounds funny, I know. Well, to me it feels different, because I’m rarely content with my work.

unklar 34 doesn’t only have that cold machine symmetry brought by the usual techno. It seems to master a fluency, and has a story to tell. How good of a story? Well, that’s one thing I can’t be the judge of.

All I can say is this: when life gives you lemons, then add some sugar, and listen to unklar #034 while making the notorious lemonade 🙃
